The first documented exhibition featuring Sivert is from 1961. He participates with his friend Ulrik Samuelson and Mårten Hultenberg, presenting his first works at Skara konstförening. The images from the exhibition's preparation describe the beginning of a long artistic career and friendship between Sivert and Ulrik.
"Skara Konstförening and the Bladhska Galleriet were founded in 1942. The purpose of the association is to awaken, maintain, and spread interest in the visual arts by organizing art exhibitions, lectures, study activities, and other art-related events.
Today, Bladhska Galleriet is an art and exhibition venue at Skolgatan 1 in Skara, run by Skara Konstförening in the historic Bladhska house. The ground floor initially housed Skara Brännvinsbolag and later a grocery store run by the Bladh family (which gave the house and the gallery its name)."
